Namibia will take on South Africa in Match No. 1 of the Namibia T20I Tri-Series 2026 on Friday, August 28, at the Namibia Cricket Ground in Windhoek.
Namibia will be led by Gerhard Erasmus, with the side looking to bounce back after finishing at the bottom of the points table in the group stage of the T20 World Cup 2026. They will have the services of Malan Kruger, Jan Frylinck, Zane Green, Bernard Scholtz and Ruben Trumpelmann.
Meanwhile, South Africa will be led by Bjorn Fortuin after finishing as semi-finalists in the T20 World Cup, where they lost to New Zealand. The Proteas boast a strong squad featuring Dewald Brevis, Prenelan Subrayen, Duan Jansen, Kwena Maphaka and Tony de Zorzi.
