Broadway Melody of 1936
Charming and talented Irene Foster dreams that her childhood sweetheart, now a Broadway producer named Robert Gordon, will recognize her and her talent. Gordon is absorbed in his battles with a dirt-dishing gossip columnist and remains oblivious, but his quick-witted, big-hearted secretary takes notice. Together, she and Irene must use their wits to show him exactly what he's missing.
