Christy is an American historical fiction drama series that aired on CBS from April 1994 through August 1995, comprising twenty episodes. It is adapted from Catherine Marshall's Christy, the 1968 bestseller written by the widow of Senate chaplain Peter Marshall. In the week after the TV movie's premiere and the series' debut, the novel jumped from #120 to #15 on the USA Today bestseller list. Series regular Tyne Daly won an Emmy Award for her work on the series.
