In 2046, an 82-year-old Golden Chicken Kum spots a heartbroken man about to take memory-loss pills. She claims that Hong Kongers have a way of forgetting, and she begins to recount a portion of her life, starting in 2003, a time when she was desperate to find a husband and the SARS outbreak happened.
