Holiewood: From Rags To Cardboard

Holiewood, a 39-year-old Walmart door greeter, is fired after refusing to help an elderly customer. Desperate and broke, he resolves to reinvent himself, but every move backfires. He lies his way into a job at a pizza place—behind the salad bar—a position he cannot perform. He then becomes a failed social media influencer and loses his savings to a crypto scammer. Meanwhile, his father is dying in a care home and longs to see him. Holiewood refuses, weaving a series of ridiculous excuses: he's allergic to hospitals, his car broke down, and he has important meetings. His sister pleads with him, but Holiewood keeps lying and deflecting. As he stumbles through increasingly absurd situations, his father's time dwindles, and Holiewood never does the right thing.
