Macross II: Lovers Again

In the year 2089, eighty years have elapsed since Space War I reshaped the destinies of humanity and the Zentraedi. Peace prevails on Earth between the two races until a new alien force named the Marduk appears within the Solar System. While covering the first battle between the U.N. Spacy and the Marduk fleet, SNN rookie reporter Hibiki Kanzaki discovers Ishtar, an Emulator whose singing enhances the Marduk's combat prowess. Hibiki brings Ishtar to Earth to teach her the values of life and culture. Joining forces with ace Valkyrie pilot Silvie Gena, Hibiki and Ishtar must devise a way to save Earth from total destruction at the hands of the Marduk leader Ingues.
