Orange County
Shaun Brumder, a teen surfer from Orange County, longs to attend Stanford to become a writer and to escape a dysfunctional family household. His journey is derailed by one setback after another, starting with a rejected application caused by his dim-witted guidance counselor submitting the wrong form.
