Set in a twilight limbo, the Tasokare Hotel functions as a sanctuary for souls suspended between the afterlife and the living world, offering them a place to rest. Neko Tsukahara arrives with no memory of who she is or how she ended up there, and is guided to a room filled with items tied to her past. As she searches for a way to remember her true identity, a particular incident confronts her.
