The Best Place to Be

Fresh out of school, best friends Kati and Jo set off on a southbound, around-the-world adventure in their purple Benz. Kati, however, struggles with the decision to embark, for the love of her life has returned to their hometown of Tandern shortly before their departure. Their journey leads them over the Brenner Pass when their car suddenly stops working. When Kati also learns that her grandfather is about to die, she longs to return home — a test that places the friendship of the two under severe strain.
