The Flying Guillotine
The empire's legions unveil a brutal new weapon: a hurled blade that can sever a head from a great distance. As the paranoid emperor begins decapitating anyone he suspects of treachery, his loyal guard Mau Tang grows weary of his ruler's excesses. He abandons his post to embrace a quiet life of farming and raising a family. Yet the past catches up with him, and he must find a way to confront the flying guillotine if he hopes to save his own head.
