The Vengeful Beauty
Though billed as a standalone entry, this fusion of martial arts action and exploitation cinema serves as a loose continuation of Shaw Brothers' Flying Guillotine saga. It follows Rong Qui-yan, a kung fu student who becomes a dutiful wife, whose life unravels when her husband is slain by a squad of government operatives led by the treacherous Jin Gang-Feng. Forced into hiding, Qui-yan sets out to exact her revenge and forges alliances with fellow fugitive Ma Seng and her former lover Wang-jun.
