The Hollow
Halloween eve sweeps Shelter Island as the town steadies for a deadly storm. The gathering clouds above the island portend a hundred-year curse finally breaking loose. In the woods, an ungodly, insatiable creature forged from fire, bone, and earth comes to life. Three sisters must band together to endure the long, dark night of the Hollow. This is not a foe you can kill; it's something you can only survive.

I liked the spikey man but **holy fuck** was this bad. The bad stuff is supposed to stop once the storm is over, but there's no storm for more than 90% of the movie's runtime, and every character delivers their lines in a shrill scream before they even make it to the location where the scary stuff happens. Just an atrocious way to deal with this concept... DP with the silky-smooth flow, though. _Final rating:★½: - Boring/disappointing. Avoid where possible._
