The Land Before Time V: The Mysterious Island
A plague of locusts devastates the Great Valley, stripping the land of vegetation and forcing the dinosaurs to migrate in search of food. As adults quarrel over the scarce resources, Littlefoot and his friends Petrie, Cera, Ducky, and Spike break away from the herd, becoming stranded on a remote island after their route is destroyed by a tsunami. While they search for a way off the island, they encounter an old acquaintance who may become friend or foe.

The "Friends for Dinner" song was honestly pretty cute. I think the first track that has grated on me in the series up to this point since _Land Before Time 2's_ egg-snatchin' song... Actually not just "since" that song, it literally is just those two songs I haven't groaned at. Don't get me wrong, I completely understand these are movies for kids. I watched them when I was a kid, but kids' movies can still be good to adults, and often are. This one is... more "okay" to adults. _Final rating:★★½ - Had a lot that appealed to me, didn’t quite work as a whole._
