As the Great Day of the Flyers draws near, the Great Valley's aerial youngsters are eager to take part in the annual exhibition to showcase their talents. Everyone except the free-spirited pterodactyl Petrie, whose individuality causes trouble when it comes to staying in formation. Enter his dinosaur friends Littlefoot, Cera, Spike, and Ducky, who encourage Petrie to embrace his uniqueness.
