Thorne

Thorne is a British television crime drama that debuted on Sky1 in the United Kingdom on 10 October 2010. Adapted from Mark Billingham's novels, the six-episode series follows Detective Inspector Tom Thorne, portrayed by David Morrissey. In Part One, Sleepyhead, Thorne investigates a string of assaults on young women, only to be pulled back into the ghosts of his own history as he races to identify the killer. In Part Two, Scaredycat, two women are murdered within hours of each other near St Pancras station, each slain by a different method. When a connection emerges to two earlier crimes from months before on the same day, Thorne suspects that two serial killers may be operating in a macabre partnership.
