Wallander: The Heritage
When Manfred Stjarne is fatally stabbed outside the Brada cider factory inherited by his wife Claire, suspicion initially falls on Polish employee Jan Kowalski, whose wife had been having an affair with Manfred. However, Jan is later discovered hanged, with subsequent evidence pointing to foul play. Benjamin Wilkes, a former psychologist who assisted Manfred in choosing redundancy candidates, is then murdered in the same manner as Manfred, placing disgruntled former Brada workers under suspicion. A third killing implicates one of Wilkes’s former patients, who has ties to the Stjarne family. Meanwhile, a newly smitten Isabelle and Pontius begin fooling around while on surveillance, lose focus, and allow the suspect to confront Claire.
