Bank branches boom in FY25 while ATMs take a dip

According to the RBI's report, banks opened a whopping 1.64 lakh branches in FY25, with tier-I centres leading the charge! While branch growth is booming, ATM numbers took a little dip. Public banks are planting their flags in rural areas, and digitalization is making folks less reliant on ATMs. It's a balanced banking bonanza across the nation!
