LRS remittances take a dip, but investments are booming!

In the April to December stretch of FY26, remittances under the Liberalised Remittance Scheme dipped by 4.12% to $21.36 billion. This drop was mainly due to fewer people spending on travel and education. However, investments in property and equity saw a significant boost, showing that while some areas slowed down, others were on the rise!
