Trudy Rubin published an article titled "Failure of Iran war reveals Trump's inability to deal with America's security needs" in The Hastings Tribune.
In the piece, Rubin states that as the United States approaches its 250th anniversary, a political party claiming patriotism is actively undercutting national security.
The source context attributes the characterization of Donald Trump's inability to meet America's security needs directly to Trudy Rubin's analysis regarding the failure of an Iran war.
