In a single apartment, a man tends to a tree with quiet devotion. He waters it and cleans it; the tree forgets, he remembers. The narrative serves as an allegory for love that hardens into duty, care that becomes a prison, and the subtle boundary between giving and losing oneself. The film chronicles a man caring for his mother who has dementia, a silent struggle between fading memory and enduring love.
