23 000 Lives
Confronted by the tragedy of refugees drowning at sea while attempting to reach Europe, a band of young Berliners decides to take action. Though inexperienced, they are fueled by passion and courage and launch a crowdfunding campaign to acquire an old ship. They venture into the Mediterranean on a mission to save thousands of people, but their bold efforts soon test their understanding of law and justice.
