Dagwood aims to join the trout club, while Blondie longs for a fur coat. Jealousy flares when Dag's old girlfriend Joan arrives, but nothing else matters when a drawing at the movie theatre provides money for the coat.

This was particularly enjoyable because of an early appearance of Rita Hayworth, as an old flame of Dagwood's that comes back into his life and makes Blondie hugely insecure and jealous. Great fun.
