Blondie's Lucky Day
Blondie must wear a brave front as her husband Dagwood is fired for the umpteenth time by Mr. Dithers, and she must also endure the attention Dagwood draws from the pretty WAC Mary Jane McDermott. A whiz in business matters, Mary Jane helps Dagwood launch his own enterprise, which replenishes the Bumstead coffers yet provokes Blondie's jealousy.
