WWE SummerSlam 2002
SummerSlam 2002 marked the 15th edition of WWE's marquee pay-per-view. Sponsored by Foot Locker, the event unfolded on August 25, 2002, at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York. On the SmackDown! side, the WWE Undisputed Championship bout pitted The Rock against Brock Lesnar as the night's headliner. On Raw, the crowd witnessed an Unsanctioned Street Fight between Shawn Michaels and Triple H. Across both brands, the Intercontinental Championship clash featured an interpromotional showdown between Rob Van Dam and Chris Benoit. The undercard also featured The Undertaker squaring off with Test and Kurt Angle taking on Rey Mysterio.
