WWE SummerSlam 2022
SummerSlam 2022 marked the 35th annual edition of WWE's marquee summer pay-per-view. Featuring talent from Raw and SmackDown, the event aired worldwide on pay-per-view and was streamed via Peacock in the United States and the WWE Network internationally. Held on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee, it was the first SummerSlam staged outside August. It also stood as WWE's first pay-per-view following the retirement of owner Vince McMahon, who had served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the company since 1982.
