Tora-san Goes Religious?
Tora-san travels to his brother-in-law Hiroshi’s hometown to take part in a memorial service for Hiroshi’s late father. When the local temple priest becomes drunk, Tora-san puts on the priest’s robe and unexpectedly delivers the memorial address, astonishing the family. Convinced he has discovered his true vocation, Tora-san resolves to enter the priesthood, and along the way he falls in love with the priest’s divorced daughter.
