Tora-san, Our Lovable Tramp
Tora-san, a wandering peddler who was expelled from his father’s home twenty years earlier, reconnects with his aunt, uncle, and sister Sakura. As he reenters their lives, he causes plenty of disruption, including getting drunk and acting foolish at a marriage meeting and spoiling Sakura’s opportunity to marry someone, while also proving to be a constant source of frustration for those around him. Yet he also has a sentimental side, and the best way to describe him is that he gradually grows on you.
