Tora-san Plays Daddy
When a playboy gambler who was once Tora-san’s friend dies, his young son—left behind by his mother—unexpectedly arrives in Shibamata. As Tora-san searches for the boy’s mother, he meets a cosmetics saleswoman, and the three gradually form a makeshift family, with Tora-san taking on the role of "daddy."
