Tora-san Takes a Vacation

Mitsuo travels to Nagoya to see Izumi, whose father abandoned her sorrowful mother, a bar hostess, for another woman. Together, they decide to confront him in Oita. Meanwhile, Izumi’s mother strikes up a friendship with Tora-san, and the two set off for Oita to join them, with Tora-san quickly developing feelings for her along the way.
